Chess — a discipline of thought

As a classical chess player rated 1488, I have developed a deep appreciation for strategic thinking, disciplined preparation, and long-term decision-making. Competing in tournaments has taught me to remain composed under pressure, analyze complex positions, and adapt to changing situations.

Winning a state-level chess competition hosted at KIIT was a particularly meaningful milestone, reflecting not only technical ability but also months of consistent practice, resilience, and continuous improvement.
